About Me

I’m Ollie Mitchell, a North Canterbury photographer and graphic designer who enjoys creating work that feels intentional and true to the people I’m creating it for. I like visuals that have purpose behind them and that reflect what someone is trying to say or show.

Photography is where everything started for me. I picked up a camera when I was young and kept coming back to it over the years. Through photography, I learned to pay attention to light, composition, and the small details that give every photo or moment its character. That way of seeing things naturally carried over into graphic design, and it still influences how I approach every project.

As I got older, graphic design became a big part of my creative work as well. I like making designs that grab your attention, with details that make them feel personal to the client without feeling overdone or busy. I enjoy working on logos and branding, layouts, and other digital projects. With every project, I try to make everything feel intentional and suited to the person behind it. My goal is always to create something that feels right for you, not just something that looks good on a screen.

Outside of creative work, I’m into basketball, football, and high‑level target shooting. Shooting in particular has taught me focus, patience, and how to perform in high‑pressure environments. Those things definitely show up in how I plan, communicate, and deliver my work. I take pride in making sure every project is handled properly from start to finish.

Creativity has always been a big part of my life, and combining photography and design has become the way I bring ideas to life. Both give me different ways to tell stories, capture moments, and build visuals that feel meaningful and suited to the people I’m working with.
